Experience and skills required for the job

Degree in Finance or accounting from a reputable university preferably accredited with qualification CA/CPA/CFA. • Minimum of (10) experience in a similar position. • Basic computer literacy (Excel windows experience is a must). • Good command of English (oral & Written).

Job duties

Advise Management & Staff on methods to ensure effective utilization of financial resources. 
2. Establish and maintain a financial management system to provide for the entry of cost/revenue data, preparation, recording and distribution of invoices, identifying debtors and assessment of costs.
 3. Maintain a complete and systematic set of records of all financial transactions of the company in accordance with internationally recognized accounting practices. 4. Perform work involving the full variety of transactions which normally effect pay, leave, taxes, benefits, deductions and record information of all employees during the payroll cycle. 5. Maintain equipment records, property identification numbering and property inventories in accordance with established procedures. 6. Prepare budget and expenditures forecasts and monitor trends, cash flow and bank accounts. 7. Prepare on a periodic basis, financial and statistical report in accordance with established procedures. 8. Assist external auditors in the examination of records and evaluation of the company financial position and status. 9. Prepare financial statements and periodic reports as deemed by management.
